Pastry Test - 5.11 - Paradise Valley

Jon Rigg & Chris Trull have climbed the long spied roof crack at the main Paradise Wall.

‘Pastry Test’ is a two pitch climb which begins on ‘Kype of the Pinook’ and traverses right to an anchor under the roof (5.10).

The second pitch (5.11) climbs the gaping roof crack above and succumbs to chimney techniques and stemming (apparently no offwidth manoeuvres are necessary).

This route is fully bolted and the bolts in the roof are equipped with permadraws.
